All about John Schneider's own independent movie Collier and Co.

John Schneider in a 69 Dodge Charger? We're there, dude.

About the film . . .
This movie is about a former race car driver named J.R. Collier who has decided to quit racing and start his own used car sales company with his former mechanic, Billy. His wife is asking for a divorce and he is trying to change her mind by settling down with this job. As a loving and caring husband and father, he doesn't want to lose Becky or his daughter Danielle (Danny). His method of operation is a little bizarre as he obtains the cars he sells by racing other owners and the winner gets both pink slips. Being just off the circuit, he can't lose. His problem arises when he "wins" a Ferrari from a Texan who was driving Mr. Fanning's car. Mr. Fanning is determined to get the car back because it has a very valuable item in it. This leads to Becky and Danny being kidnapped by helicopter and J.R. trying to stay away from these men because he has no idea why they even want to talk with him. He doesn't know they have his family. The hilarious chase involving fast speeds and long car jumps finally solves all of J.R.'s problems.
Sound familiar? Yes, it may remind you at times of "The Dukes of Hazzard" - the TV series of 1979-1985, not the movie of 2005. In fact, watch and listen for references to that TV series throughout the movie. Didn't that series teach family values to so many of us as youngsters? Maybe this movie can do the same for the current generation of youngsters.

"Collier And Company" is a delightful movie for the whole family. The script was written by John R. Schneider, Bo Duke on "The Dukes of Hazzard". He stars in the film, portraying J.R. Collier with an enthusiasm which only he could sustain throughout an entire movie. This family oriented movie has even been produced by his independent production company.
